The Johnson Family

 

Richard Johnson was born about 1612 in England.

He came to America in 1630 and lived with Sir Richard Saltonstall at Watertown.

His wife was named Alice. She signed her name "Alce Johnson" on November 12, 1666.

Abigail Johnson (1635, married John Collins and Thomas Farrar),
Elizabeth Johnson (married Thomas Tolman),
Samuel Johnson, (1640, married Mary Collins), and
Daniel Johnson (1650 married Martha Parker)

In 1637, Richard was admitted freeman.

In 1637 he moved to Lynn.

He died in 1666, aged 54.

Richard Johnson came over in 1630 and lived with Sir Richard Saltonstall at Watertown. He was admitted freeman in 1637. He came to Lynn the same year and settled as a farmer on the eastern end of the commons. He died in 1666, aged 54.
